Stuart Hall Annual Report 2010-2011—Thank you!
Stuart Hall School Annual Report 2010-2011
Dear Stuart Hall Family and Friends,
While we are a School focused on preparing our students for an engaged life in the 21st century, we are also a school who holds its traditions dear: Senior Steps, Honor Code signing, Red/White games, chapel talks, food drives at Thanksgiving, and shepherds’ crooks at graduation. Traditions bind us together across generations as we forge an exciting future for Stuart Hall School.
One tradition for which I am most grateful is the tradition of steadfast support by our alums, parents, and friends. Stuart Hall School benefits tremendously from the Annual Fund gifts that allow us to secure faculty of the highest quality, offer a rich liberal arts and sciences education for students in grades PK-12, and provide facilities for 21st century learning. This legacy of giving allows us to create a culture of respect, kindness, and high standards that brings out the unlimited potential of each of our students.
Your giving is truly exceptional. To put this in perspective, support of the 2010-2011 Annual Fund represents a 60% increase in gifts and a 31% increase in donors over two years ago. Over 730 donors gave to Stuart Hall, providing $545,663 in support of our operating budget.
On behalf of our students and faculty, thank you for understanding that a special place like Stuart Hall cannot exist on tuition dollars alone, and thank you for making Stuart Hall a philanthropic priority. We are the strong School we are today because of you.
With sincere gratitude,
Mark H. Eastham
Head of School
