Jump Rope for Heart… LS STUdents Raise $3,116.29 for the American Heart Association!!!
Ava Grace Flory was the top fundraiser with a whopping $525! Ava Grace set her sights on raising $500, and when it came down to the wire she was on the phone calling for donations the morning of the event. Thank you, Ava Grace and all of our STUdents, for putting the heart in Mind*Body*Heart*Spirit!

Gymnastics and Lacrosse
Spring is right around the corner for LS athletics! We are officially recruiting parent volunteers to coach Wednesday Clinics for Gymnastics and Lacrosse. Coach Tate has graciously offered to mentor our coaches for gymnastics- all we need now are enthusiastic and energetic parent volunteers to round out our team!
The Gymnastics and Lacrosse clinics are scheduled on the following Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30:
Gymnastics: March 21, 28 and April 11, 18
Since the LS gym restricts the group size for gymnastics, we will anticipate having 5 students per parent volunteer with a cap at 30 students total. We need 6 parent volunteers but will take more!!!
Lacrosse: April 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23
Lacrosse is played on the outdoor fields at the Verona Campus.
Sign-up sheets for both students and parent volunteers will go out soon. Both gymnastics and lacrosse at STU LS focus on game fundamentals and skill learning. We run them in a clinics-style format and focus on learning a new sport and having fun!!!
If you are interested in coaching or helping in any way, please contact me at mtbrandtoms [at] gmail [dot] com (mtbrandtoms [at] gmail [dot] com)
